What is an elopement, and why do it?
Elopements are a beautiful, intimate, and often adventurous way for you to celebrate your love, free from the complexities and pressures of traditional weddings. I’m a Swiss (but originally Canadian!) elopement photographer who thrives in wild landscapes and unscripted moments. With a deep love for nature and storytelling, my main concern is in helping you craft an experience that feels true to you.
When I say I understand what you’re feeling, I mean it—because I’m walking this path myself. My partner and I have decided to elope, too! We’re planning a ceremony in Iceland, just the two of us (and our photographer of course), surrounded by raw landscapes that feel honest and wild and real.
Respect for nature is an important part of every elopement I photograph. Switzerland’s landscapes are incredibly beautiful, but they are also fragile, and they deserve care and attention. I help couples plan their day in a way that minimizes impact on the environment by choosing responsible locations and making sure the experience blends naturally with the surroundings rather than disrupting them.
